Darulfatwa – Australia vehemently condemns the burning of a copy of the Noble Qur’an by extremists in Sweden.

This act of desecration, which involved insulting and trampling on the Holy Qur’an in Stockholm, is a repeated offense that indicates complicity with these criminals in their attempts to deliberately provoke Muslims worldwide.

Darulfatwa – Australia asserts that such barbaric acts cannot be justified or authorised under the guise of freedom of opinion and expression. These actions are offensive to others and contradict Sweden’s policy of integration and diversity.

We emphasize that these criminal acts will not diminish the sanctity of the Holy Qur’an, which remains a guiding book that promotes values of goodness and truth.

Darulfatwa – Australia calls on the international community to take a stand against these criminal acts and launch a widespread campaign of condemnation and decisive action. We urge heightened awareness and vigilance to thwart the goals behind these acts.

We also commend the wise stance taken by some Islamic countries, such as Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, and Jordan, in response to Swedish violations against the Holy Qur’an. These countries have summoned Swedish ambassadors and submitted official protest notes.

Darulfatwa – Australia encourages similar positive actions through diplomatic means to express rejection of these repeated racist violations and provocations against Muslims worldwide.

Darulfatwa – Australia
