Darulfatwa – High Islamic Council of Australia escorts over 80 academics and government delegates from South East Asia and Australasian countries on a tour of the NSW Parliament House.
Headed by the Darulfatwa Australia Chairman, his eminence Dr. Sheikh Salim Alwan, and a hosting party of officials from Darulfatwa and the Islamic Charity Projects Association escorted over 80 guests from Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Fiji and New Zealand on a tour to NSW Parliament House today, as a seal to their 3 day visit to Australia for the International Islamic Conference.
They were welcomed by Labor MLC Shaoquett Moselmane who opened the doors of the Parliament House and lead the tour.
The international guests, including 80 officials arrived to Australia in time to attend the world renowned and epic Multicultural Mawlid Concert organized by the Islamic Charity Projects Association under the patronage of Darulafatwa Australia on Sunday 3rd of December.
Following that great event, the officials participated in the International Islamic Conference on moderation in Islam held on Monday the 4th of December and organized by Darulfatwa Australian in collaboration with Majlis Ulama Jakarta Branach, Indonesia.
The Chairman of Majlis Ulama Jakarta branch, His Excellency, Sheikh Ahmad Sharif Ud-Din Abdul Ghani expressed his delight and intrigue to the hosts, as he learnt all about the process of Parliament in Australia, from Mr. Moselmani.
The last day of their official visit end in a leisure cruise on Sydney Harbour.
