Darulfatwa-The Islamic High Council of Australia, calls for Muslims to stand together in condemning the terror attack in London, Friday 29th of November 2019.
All acts of abhorrent extremism and terrorism are rejected and condemned by our organisation and community.
We send our condolences to the innocent victims that have been killed and/or injured. We note that this man had previous terrorist criminal charges and has done this act after recently being released from prison.

Darulfatwa Chairman, his Eminence Prof. Sheikh Salim Alwan announced:
“This abhorrent act of terrorism should not be associated with Islam in any way. We, as Muslims, strongly condemn such acts and urge all British citizens to stand side by side to face any attempt of causing tribulations amongst them.
“Our hearts go out in sorrow for those who have lost their loved ones in this attack, and for others who were left injured, shocked and scared.”
Darulfatwa Australia urges the world to recognise such radical attacks as attacks not only on the targeted but also on Islam.
Make no mistake that terrorism has a specific ideology and set of teachings which mainstream Muslims reject. We at Darulfatwa Australia are working hard to educate the community against these teachings and ideologies.

We implore the governments and community leaders in Australia to take action against groups linked to terrorist ideologies and teachings.
