Darulfatwa- Islamic High Council of Australia, Dr.Sheikh Salim Alwan Al-Husainiyy welcome the guests and he delivered a  speech, which conveyed:

All Praise is due to Allah, who created everything, the Throne, the skies and the Earth, the one who   does not need any of his creations, who exist eternally without a place.

Tonight is the 13th night, in the blessed month of Ramadan, and tonight, we gather, for the 7th

Annual Iftar Dinner, hosted by Dartulfatwa, to celebrate the end of the 12th Azhariyy course.

Darulfatwa, introduced the Azhariyy course, for the purpose, of spreading, the correct Islamic teachings, in the community, and to empower the Imams, and the Religion teachers with the proper knowledge; as these Imams set good examples, and light up our society with goodness.

Let me confirm, in this beautiful meeting, of family and friends that Islam is a Religion of moderation, mercy and guidance.

Prophet Muhammad said, what means: the believer will not reach a high level in Islam, unless he loves, for Muslims, and non-Muslims, what he loves, for himself, from among the goodness.

In this blessed, month of Ramadan, I would like to warn you, from people who unjustly, use Islam, as a way to hide, while their actions, are far away from Islam. They blaspheme this nation, they bomb buses, trains, houses, and they invade homes, to whip those, who they wish, they spread their wrong belief, using Mosques, book stores and the internet.

So we should unite, to save our youth, from their ideologies, and to guide them, to the path of The Quran, and Sunnah.

MP Tony Issa said:

Member of the Legislative Council. The Hon. Shaoquett Moselmane, who was representing  NSW Leader of opposition Mr John Robertson Said:

I would like to congratulate everyone on this Iftar dinner I want to thank Darulfatwa for the very kind invitation I would like to acknowledge first all my dear colleagues  in the parliament house I remember my first Ramadan dinner that  was conducted by member’s of   Darulfatwa in 1993 at that time hardly any iftar dinners took place anywhere land now if tar’s everywhere  throughout New Nouth Wales and in New South Wales parliament and I think the first one was conducted by Bob Car and Morris Iemma and now every premier conduct iftar dinners at parliament house respecting the Islamic community in New South Wales and I’m proud also to be a part of this process .

Ramadan is the most holy month of the Islamic year it is a month of prayer fasting and charity it is a month of reflection and generosity  sacrifice and it is a month where all Muslims  around the world observe restrained and deep feelings with the poor the orphan and the un privileged  Ramadan is a time of solidarity a time of charity  it’s a time of sympathy and giving to those most in need as we now see in the hungry people of Ethiopia and sudan and other parts of the world its also a time of reflection of the people oppressed around the world we pause for a moment and think of the  Norwegians massacred by terrorist extremists’ enraged with hatred towards others our heartfelt sympathies  go to the families of each of those killed by a terrorist.

In Australia we are lucky to live in peace, in Australia we live in diversity.  Ramadan is a time where we all rejoice what we have In this country  I wish all Muslims a happy month full of joy and giving I take this opportunity on behalf of John Robertson leader of the opposition  to wish all Australians well in these holy days and to thank Darulfatwa  for giving me the opportunity to convey this message and wish you a Ramadan Mubarak.

Darulfatwa thanks all those who attended the dinner and contributed to the success of the evening,

We ask Allah to grant us prosperity in the return of this blessed month next year.
