Darulfatwa Australia Condemns UK Attack on Praying Muslims
Darulfatwa – The Islamic High Council of Australia condemns the terrorist attack on Muslims worshipping in a Mosque in Finsbury Park near London Bridge, Monday 19 June.
His eminence, Chairman of Darulfatwa, Dr. Sheikh Salim Alwan issued a statement this morning in relation to the destructive attack that killed one and injured 10 praying Muslims, who became victims of Islamophobia.
Dr. Sheikh Salim Alwan said,
“I call on all Muslim leaders to voice their renunciation of this racist and unnecessary terrorist attack on innocent Muslims in London and around the world.
“I call on the Muslim leaders to take strict appropriate measures to ensure the safety of Muslims and implement strategies to prevent the uprise of Islamophobia, which in effect will bring harm to Muslims around the world”.
His Eminence extended his condolences, on behalf of Darulfatwa Australia to the family of the deceased, supplicating to the Lord to bestow His mercy upon him and grant his family patience in their loss.
His eminence also sends a message of comfort to those injured in this atrocious attack, supplicating to the Lord to grant them fast recovery.
