The day after the Multicultural Mawlid Concert, the Chairman of Darulfatwa Australia – Dr. Sheikh Salim Alwan Al-husseinyy escorted the distinguished guests on a tour of the community centres, Islamic institutions and schools affiliated with Darulfatwa Australia, in Sydney.
The guests included Dr. Ahmad Hasym Muzadi, Religious adviser to the president of Indonesia Previous president of Nahdlatul Ulama Association , and Mufti of Pahang Haji Abdulrahaman bin Haji Osman.
They toured around Salamah College School and two Al Amanah College campuses (Bankstown and Liverpool) where they were greeted by students and an academic team of administrators and teachers.
This was followed by an edifying tour around 2mfm radio station and participated in interviews regarding the affairs of Muslims in this country.
The day ended with a celebratory dinner hosted by Darulfatwa Australia in tribute of the distinguished guests. The celebratory dinner was held at the Garden View Hotel in Bankstown and was attended by many association heads and community leaders. It was also a chance for key leaders and community members to speak about the prominent challenges facing the Muslim community.
